Crowd Singing "Enter Sandman" at Virginia Tech Game Caught on Seismograph

The Virginia Tech Hokies football team has a tradition of playing Metallica's "Enter Sandman" at the start of each of their home games as the team waits in the tunnel, only to emerge as the song hits its crescendo.

It's been a thing for over 20 years now, and their latest game was perhaps one for the record.

On Friday's game against the North Carolina Tar Heels, the crowd apparently was so loud singing along with the song that a nearby seismometer picked up the disturbance. Although it wasn't quite big enough to register as an earthquake, it's pretty obvious on a seismograph posted on Twitter where exactly the crowd was at its loudest.
