NBC's upcoming gameshow "Ultimate Slip 'N Slide" has been put on hold indefinitely after an outbreak of "explosive diarrhea" on the set of the production.

According to People, one crew member tested positive for giardia, a parasite that causes explosive diarrhea.

The shutdown started June 2nd. The show was set to debut after the Summer Olympics.

It's unknown at this time if any other people of the set got the disease, but according to a report, "up to 40 crew members fell violently ill," with many experiencing "awful explosive diarrhea" with some "collapsing" and "being forced to run into port-o-potties."

The studio in charge of producing the show released a statement saying, "The health and safety of everyone on our set is our number one priority, so out of an abundance of caution we have made the decision to stop production of Ultimate Slip 'N Slide at the current location. We are in the process of determining next steps in order to complete production.

The show is still listed with a premiere of August 8 at 10:30 PM ET, immediately following the Olympics' closing ceremony.
