Florida Politician Claims Pointing a Hairdryer Up Your Nose Kills Corona

A Florida politician made a bold claim in regards to what he believes is a possible cure for the deady COVID-19 virus that has become a global pandemic but was quickly corrected.

Bryant Culpepper, the Okeechobee County Commissioner, said during a recent recorded meeting that by turning on a hairdryer and pointing it up your nose, the coronavirus would be killed off along with any other virus.

Culpepper tells the floor about his background as a paramedic and reveals that he found out something that could be the cure to COVID-19.

"This sounds really goofy, and it did to me too, but it works. The answer is a blow dryer. You hold a blow dryer up to your face and you inhale with your nose and it kills all the viruses in your nose. Sometimes the cures for some of these diseases are very simple."

Almost immediately, Culpepper's idea gets shot down. The claim has been circulating the Internet for a few days and has been debunked as a way of curing the virus. In fact, you can harm yourself trying it.

Culpepper later apologized for his remarks. "I will not offer any more suggestions unless they are tried and proven," he said in a Facebook post.
