After selling out numerous shows across the West Coast, LA-based indie-pop duo Mating Ritual will bring their energetic live show to the East Coast + Midwest for the first time in April with Penguin Prison, including a stop in Washington DC at Black Cat on April 18th.
Mating Ritual have announced their sophomore album, Light Myself On Fire, and unveiled the first two songs “U + Me Will Never Die / Splitting In Two” as a single and B-side via Consequence of Sound. The album is the follow up to the band’s critically-acclaimed debut, How You Gonna Stop It? which earned praised from the likes of Stereogum, Alternative Press, Consequence of Sound + more upon its June 2017 release. The album has racked up 13 million cumulative streams, been featured on How To Get Away With Murder, Riverdale, iZombie, Office Christmas Party, The Bold Type, Doubt + more.
