Angels & Airwaves mastermind Tom DeLonge announced through his Instagram account that the band has a new album in the works.
Back in July, he said in a vague-but-not-vague statement that "I am sitting here and awaiting to tell you about what is coming... Date is coming soon." And that news turned out to be the announcement of the new AVA record.
Dream Walker is the band's most recent album, having been released in 2014. A 4-song EP, Chasing Shadows, was released in April of 2016 and The Dream Walker Demos compilation was released a month after that.
DeLonge formed Angels & Airwaves in 2005 when blink-182 went on hiatus. Their first album, 2006's We Don't Need to Whisper was their most successful, selling over 800,000 copies.
Otherwise, DeLonge has kept busy searching for aliens.
