iHeartMedia Washington, DC’s 104.7 FM and the Washington Capitals Announce New Broadcast Partnership


Washington, DC – January 23, 2017 – iHeartMedia Washington, DC’s 104.7 FM announced today a broadcast partnership with the Washington Capitals, effective immediately. The station will air every Capitals game for the remainder of the National Hockey League season.

Beginning today, 104.7 FM will become a part of the Washington Capitals’ radio network, which extends from Pennsylvania to North Carolina and enhances the current coverage in the Washington, D.C. area. Outside of game coverage, the station will simulcast DC101 HD2.
