Have you ever wondered what would happen if any of the cars on one of those car transport trucks came loose?
A few years ago, I was on my way to a station event when I saw all the cars a few miles in front of me start suddenly braking. I slowed down, and as I got closer, I saw the reason for it: a car transport with brand new cars that still had that white plastic on them, were all over the road. Two had been hit by other cars. One was upside down. Several more were in a ditch by the side of the road. Only one was still on the transport.
Fortunately, it didn't seem as though anyone was hurt, but I figured it was going to be a huge headache for whatever state trooper was dispatched to handle it. Three hours later I was headed back from my event, and as I passed by on the opposite stretch of the highway, it was still a huge mess.
Granted, this happened in the U.S., so of course I didn't have a dash cam like it seems as though everyone in Russia does. The cars don't wind up coming off the transport, but the crash looks as though it's right out of an action movie.
