What's worse than that car alarm that keeps going off? The train horn that "malfunctioned", and has been blaring nonstop now since 5 this morning. 

CSX said the train was tied down on the tracks, and wasn't a traffic hazard. I'm sure that was a great relief to all the people over a "significant portion of town" who couldn't hear those reassurances over the sound of that train horn.

I feel sort of bad for the maintenance crew that's been sent out to fix it. Imagine being that close to the deafening noise for however long it takes to shut it off. It actually reminds me of the time the horn broke and started blaring nonstop on the moving truck just as it pulled away from my house. The poor guy later told me he had to drive all the way across town with the horn honking the entire time until he could find a place to pull off the road and fix it.
