I first ran into the guys from DC Brau at a tattoo convention about 3 years ago. Back then, they were just getting started. Now, they are probably the District's most well known brewery.
I totally say I knew them when.
Now let's rip into their can!
(That sounded weird)
Look-cloudy copper in color with a layer of foam on top.
Smell-I like when I pick up aroma before brining it to my nose. Does that mean freshness? Regardless, I'm a fan. Subdued hop notes with caramel. MMMMMMM.
Taste-Surprisingly piney. I'm also getting citrus.
Mouth-Medium bodied and dry. Earthy dry finish.
Overall-This is a bit more hoppy than I was expecting. not a bad thing but more IPA than Pale Ale. Know that going in and you will enjoy this beer. Support your local breweries!

About The Public Ale:
The Public Pale Ale is brewed in the classic American Pale Ale style. Assertive bitterness backed by C-60 and Vienna malts which lend notes of rich, yet semi-dry caramel. Then followed up with a nice white grapefruit and citrus aroma that begs for a follow up sip.
Let's nerd out to the latest Audi commerical featuring two Spocks.
The Rolling Stones kicked off their latest tour on Saturday in Los Angeles and, judging from this sizzle reel, they still have a few kinks to work out.
Does this make you nervous about dropping the cash to see them?
This is from the same people who did that wildly popular NFL Bad Lip Reading video from earlier this year.
If you watch the show, it will give you a few chuckles.
