Except, I've heard bad things about this beer.

Right.
Look- Hazy copper color with half a finger of head that dissipates quickly.
Smell-Sweet from the maple with smoke also present in the nose.
Taste-Sweet on the lips. Everything else is just muddled.
Mouthfeel-Medium to full bodied. VERY carbonated. Fizzy aftertaste.
Overall-What a disappointment. They maple is sweet on first sip but you can't taste any bacon. In fact, after the first sip, I can't taste much of anything. It's all just a jumbled mess of carbonation. I guess you CAN have too much of a good thing. Don't be fooled by the cool bottle and tasty ingredients.
