The first of the three Sam Adams beers that will be just a buck at Roche's Tree Trim Party on Thursday. Remember, you can get this beer for just a buck between 6p and 8p on Thursday at the Iron Horse Tavern.
Heard great things about this one.
Look-Yellow at the bottom but deepens in color as it rises. Finger of foam.
Smell-cinnamon and nutmeg on the nose. Citrusy.
Taste-Wow. The cinnamon opens up deliciously on the first sip. On the swirl, the citrus comes out. Wheat with orange peel on the swallow.
Mouthfeel-light to medium bodied and spicy.
Overall-love the explosion of cinnamon in the first sip. From there, the cinnamon recedes, which is a tad disappointing because it's so full of flavor. The disappointment is offside by the wonderful balance of the rest of the flavors (citrus, wheat, spice) during the reminder of the drinking experience.

About White Christmas:
As crisp as the first snowfall of the year, this unfiltered white ale is blended with holiday spices including cinnamon, nutmeg, and orange peel. The familiar citrus and wheat characters of the ale are complemented by the warmth of the spices for a festive brew that’s perfect for the season.
