We've been doing a lot of Pumpkins, Oktoberfest (actually, only one marze...so far. There are many more coming), and other fall beers lately, I thought today would be a good day to switch it up with something different.

This'll do nicely.

Smell-Lemon peel

Taste-Lemon, banana, and sadly, some alcohol on the swallow.

Mouthfeel-Light bodied, crisp, and a bit dry going down.

Drinkability-This is the taste I often associate with "Belgian beers" and it's not one that I overly enjoy. Being as objective as possible, I like it on the lips but the taste of alcohol dampens my enjoyment of the brew.

About Verboten:

Verboten is brewed with pale, carahell, and wheat malts, and hopped with Centennial and Cascade hops to give it a distinctly American character.  The medium bodied beer has a crisp palate and moderate bitterness coupled with the fruity esters from the abbey yeast strain.
