It could have been a bad situation for Jared Followill of Kings of Leon. The band went to Dubai to play a few shows and he almost got thrown in jail.
Jared brought an electronic cigarette with him but the security at the airport stopped him. They are illegal in Dubai and even though Jared didn't know, they threatened to put him away for it.
I'm not sure exactly how they smoothed things out, but Jared didn't have to go to the big house. Just a hunch on my part, I bet jail in Dubai is not somewhere that you want to end up. I'm guessing the conditions are less than favorable.
Remember, no electronic cigarettes in Dubai! Make a note of this...
GTA V, without question was one of the best games of the year. One of the features in it that you might not know about is the ability to pull out your cell phone and take selfies.

Oh Trevor, you silly silly man you!
The deluxe edition of Megalithic Symphony is coming out on Tuesday the 19th but we were lucky enough to get an advance copy. I wanted to show you exactly what's in it because AWOLNATION delivered!

There are two discs included in this set, the original album and the second CD of B sides and live performances and remixes. A nice addition to the AWOLNATION collection. The book is a foldout with a sweet shot of Aaron at a concert with everyone going nuts. The patch can be attached to your favorite bookbag, denim vest or whatever you'd like. And then we come to the crown jewel in the collection!
That black thing with the strange edges. I'm sure it caught your eye because it grabbed my attention immediately. That is a combination bottle opener / surf wax comb to make sure you have the finest times possible at the beach and that your board is in good shape. You can also use it to straighten your mustache, it fits perfectly above your lip for the straightest fuzz around! Very helpful!
AWOLNATION, excellent work on this set.
Fall Out Boy took a few years off and they've come back like they owned the world this year. A few tours, festival slots, they released Save Rock and Roll and PAX AM Days, nominations for a few different awards and now, during the final stretch of 2013, a job too good to pass up.
They'll be playing at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show! The guys will be a part of the show on December 10th at 10pm on CBS. I'm sure it wasn't a tough decision to take the gig.
Of course this will be the one time everybody's paying zero attention to them while they're playing. Nothing against Fall Out Boy, it's just that other things will be too distracting...
