I don't like this one bit.

An online high school is opening in California. Virtual Academy at Shenandoah High School is now accepting applications for people to learn their way, online, the way of the future. The kids can even take an accelerated program and finish a few years of college by the time they would normally be done high school.

Those things are fine, but where is the social education? How to talk to people, making friends, going to parties, playing sports, scuffles in the hallways, dating? How do they teach that in an online high school???

I understand that these kinds of advancements will save money. Fine. But this is just more and more of the country shielding kids from anything good or bad that possibly could happen to them. To make sure they live a life without taking chances or having fun! You can't plot out everything, it's not how kids are supposed to live!

Before you think of the children, THINK OF THE CHILDREN!
