Silvio Berlusconi is the former Prime Minister of Italy, and he's a very wealthy man, sure. He's worth almost 6 billion dollars. This fool is getting a divorce, he and his now ex-wife Veronica Lario signed an agreement on Christmas Day saying that she would get (I hope you're sitting down) $47,599,200 PER YEAR!
What the hell does anyone need that much money for every year?! So you can buy a new yacht, there was a stain on the old one???? And how could a person agree to give that kind of cash up!
I did some quick math and it will take Silvio 126 years to go broke at this rate. Still, $47 million each year? I don't know if my heart could take writing that check annually. Hell if I'm Silvio I might just stay with her, I don't think I could sign that much dough over to anyone!
Lesson learned folks: marriage is for suckers and people who can afford it. For the rest of the world, everyone needs to take a pass.
