For the readers of this blog, you definitely know that I am a huge fan of the Washington Capitals. So much so, I've been a season ticket holder for the past three seasons. But as much as we love the teams we root for, we have to remember that professional sports are a business. The owner of the professional football team in DC has reminded us of that fact.

Anyway, Matt Bradley, a huge fan favorite of the Washington Capitals for the past couple years became a free agency casualty and was signed by the Florida Panthers for a multi-year contract. We all wish him the best of luck but it was awesome having Mr. Bradley in town.
