A substitute teacher in New Jersey was arrested after he allegedly exposed himself and masturbated in front of students in his classroom. The teachers first name is, ahem, Richard, and the incident took place in the New Jersey township of, ahem, Nutley.
According to NJ.com, 58-year-old Richard Dunn was recorded on video by a student on February 1st, 2022 where Dunn was "touching himself," according to charging documents.
A little over one month later on March 10th, several female students reported that Dunn was touching himself again at his desk during a class he was teaching.
It has not been made clear when the February 1st incident was reported. It is also unclear if the first incident took place during regular school hours.
One the second reported instance, four female students reported Dunn to school officials, claiming that he was acting "weird" during their digital media class. They also claimed that they saw Dunn's genitals and that he was touching them at his desk while looking at female students.
Dunn was arrested on March 14th and was charged with endangering the welfare of a minor for the February 1st incident, and four counts of endangering the welfare of a minor and one count of lewdness for the March 10th incident.
He has since been released from jail but was ordered to stay away from minors and Nutley High School, according to NorthJersey.com.
