Anti-establishment anthem "Killing in the Name" by Rage Against the Machine has been named #1 Favorite Christmas Song of All-Time in the United Kingdom.

To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Official Christmas Number 1 in the UK, a first-ever poll was conducted to determine which song was the most beloved of all-time.

If you may recall, "Killing in the Name" was the Christmas Number 1 back in 2009 after a campaign to get it to #1 was masterminded by Jon Morter in response to the years of dominance from performers from the show X-Factor.

Over 41,000 votes and Rage Against the Machine barely edged out the Spice Girls' "2 Become 1" which was the Christmas Number 1 in 1996.

Rage were invited to the BBC to perform the song after they took the crown in 2009 and were told to drop the last part of the song that contains multiple uses of the f-word. Unsurprisingly, they chose not to.
