Dave Grohl's Daughter Violet Sings with Foo Fighters at Lollapalooza

Dave Grohl has not been shy to bring out special guests during Foo Fighters shows. Over the years, we've seen the likes of AC/DC's Brian Johnson, David Lee Roth, Billy Idol, Serj Tankian, Rick Astley, and Dave Chappelle to name a few.

On Sunday, to close out Lollapalooza 2021, Foo Fighters took the stage and Grohl brought out another special guest, "the most badass person I know in my life," which happened to be his daughter, Violet.

Just past halfway through their two-hour set, the band stopped to sing "Happy Birthday" for Dave's 7-year-old daughter Ophelia before introducing Violet.

"If you stick around long enough, maybe your daughter will join your band, too. So since my daughter Violet Grohl is now in the Foo Fighters, we thought, 'Why don't we come out and sing a song for Lollapalooza tonight?'"

Grohl then starts talking about their love of punk rock music, bringing up the band X and claims that he is a relative of drummer DJ Bonebreak, then handing over the mic to Violet to cover X's "Nausea."
